All storage units are rented on a monthly basis. Rent is due on the first (1st) of each month with a five (5) day grace period. If the rent is not received in our office by the fifth (5th) day of the month, a late fee of $2.00 PER DAY retroactive to the first (1st) of the month will be charged. If the unit becomes more than forty-five (45) days past due, the unit will be locked off. Any tenant that becomes sixty (60) days past due shall be deemed in fault of this agreement and shall relinquish all legal rights to the contents inside the storage unit to Big Boy Storage for disposal.
A security deposit equal to the first (1st) monthly payment is required to take possession of the unit as well as a $5.00 key deposit that will allow access to the facility. Both deposits shall be refunded to the tenant when said storage unit is left in a clean and rentable condition.
I understand that this is a self-storage facility and that Big Boy Storage and/or it’s management is not responsible for the following:
1) Loss or damage to my property.
2) Does not provide insurance for my stored property.
3) Requires that I provide my own insurance, be self-insured or personally responsible for my property.
4) Is a commercial business renting space and is not a bailer or a warehouse.
5) I agree that no dangerous or comustible poisons or chemicals that pose a threat shall be stored.
6) Tenants shall provide their own locks for their storage unit.
